Developing a Kingdom Mindset
"Verily, I tell you no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again." John 3:3
Once we are ‘Born Again’ (refers to a spiritual rebirth of the human Spirit as opposed to the physical birth that occurs 9 months after conception) and acknowledge that God is a King, we must seek to develop a lifestyle which reflects God and his Kingdom. A Kingdom is a state or government having a King as its head. Remember that Kingdom is not a religion; it is a governing influence of a King over His territory.
To develop a Kingdom mindset it is essential that you study the Word of God and allow the Word to influence your attitude, behaviour and way of life. As the Word continues to impact your life, your mind will change to reflect God’s Will as opposed to your own. According to Romans 12:2 we must be transformed, it is this transformation that will enable us to deny our will and readily accept the Will of God:
''Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and the perfect, will of God''. Romans 12:2
